Your light will always shine in our hearts

May 20th 1994, That date will always stay implanted in my mind,

on that day

God called my Mama home.

That was the hardest day that I have had to face in my life.

My Mama was very special to me that is why I am making this page.

Mama Torie was one of a kind. She lived a very full and happy life. She had

9 children,  20 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildre, and many

Step-children, Step-Grandchildren, Step-Great Grandchildren,

and Step-Great Great Grandchildren.

The above picture is of my Mom, Mama, and me.

Mama was sick there, we just didn't realize how sick.

Shorthly after that picture was taken, Mama fell and

broke her hip, and then was bed ridden. After that

everything went down hill.  She then got pneumonia.

Here is a poem that I found a few years ago,

it helped me to deal with her being gone.

Do Not Stand at My Grave...

Do not stand at my grave and weep: I am not there,

I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond that glints on the snow.

I am sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush of quite birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there.

I did not die.

One day we will meet again Mama.

I Love You.
